Ukraine Student Fund
The D’Youville University campus is proud to provide scholarships and other forms of support for Ukraine students who have been impacted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022. It is designed to allow students to begin or continue their education. Many Ukraine students have lost access to higher education due to displacement, or whose institutions have been forced to close or are operating under challenging circumstances. The terms of the support will vary based on student needs and can include support for tuition, tutoring, room and board.
D’Youville University quickly responded to sponsor 11 Ukrainian students after the February 2022 invasion. These students are now safe and receiving full tuition, room, board, work-study jobs and support services like counseling and tutoring.
For those members of the Le Moyne College community joining us to help take in more Ukrainian students in the coming school year please note “Ukraine/Le Moyne” in the memo line of checks or comments box for credit card gifts. Donations will be tracked and reported with the goal of sponsoring an additional Ukrainian student starting in the 23-24 academic year with a goal of $15k.
