James G. Corasanti, MD, PhD
Buffalo Medical Group, PC
Dr. James G. Corasanti has been a member of the Buffalo Medical Group, PC, since 2003, and also is Medical Director of the GI Endoscopy unit at Buffalo General Hospital. In addition, he is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.Dr. Corasanti serves as chair of the Buffalo Medical Group Board of Directors, is chair of the Endoscopy Committee at Kaleida Health and also is a member of the GI Pharmacy Committee at Kaleida Health. He has authored or co-authored articles and abstracts about his research in numerous medical journals and publications.
David N. Johnson, MD
Kenmore Family Medicine, LLP
Dr. David N. Johnson first entered private practice in 1982 and in 1995 his practice expanded into Kenmore Family Medicine. He is a clinical assistant professor at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and the Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. In addition to serving the Western New York area as a physician in family and geriatric medicine he was instrumental in helping Himalayan HeathCare raise the funds needed to build and staff a 12,000 square foot hospital in Ilam, located in the eastern portion of Nepal. The hospital opened in 2004 and serves not only the 3000 residents of Ilam but also 48 other villages with a total population of 350,000 people. In the last decade Dr. Johnson has made twelve trips to Nepal to provide medical care and in the past six years the hospital in Ilam has treated 50,000 patients.
Jody L. Lomeo
CEO, Erie County Medical Center
Mr. Jody L. Lomeo was appointed chief executive officer of the Erie County Medical Center Corp by its Board of Directors on January 9, 2009. Mr. Lomeo serves as vice-chair of Great Lakes Health System, the board New York State created to combine ECMCC and Kaleida Health. Under Mr. Lomeo’s leadership, ECMC is in the midst of a renaissance and has many projects underway. ECMC has built a new addition to its emergency room, which includes two new operating rooms; is planning a new Great Lakes Health consolidated transplant program on campus, and is planning a new bone health center that will bring preventative medicine and research together. Mr. Lomeo is also a board member of the US Small Business Administration Buffalo District Advisory Council.
