Faculty and staff seeking outside funding support to grow and enhance their academic programs or administrative offices, undertake community outreach or service, or otherwise advance the mission of D’Youville College are invited to work with the Office of Institutional Advancement to pursue grant support.
All requests for corporate, foundation, or government support are processed through the Office of Institutional Advancement.
Government-funded grant opportunities are managed by Molly Flynn, Director, Government Grants, who can be reached at ext. 7809.
Foundation and Corporate grant opportunities are managed by Bill McKeever, Director, Foundation Relations, who can be reached at ext. 7807.
Proposals initiated outside the Office of Institutional Advancement require the one-page pre-proposal clearance (Form A) to be signed by your immediate supervisor. Please contact IA staff to discuss your project and funding ideas and we will be happy to provide assistance, prospect research, and guidance.
Upon completion of a funding proposal draft, a one-page review and approval sheet (Form B) ensures that the proposal meets college standards. Institutional Advancement prepares final proposal packages, transmits proposals, maintains communication with the funding agency, and stewards the college’s relationship with the funder on an ongoing basis.
If you have a specific project in mind at this time that requires external grant funding or would just like to register your general interest for notification by the IA Office of any future grant opportunities, you can complete the quick online Grant Interest Profile.
We look forward to working with you to advance the mission of D’Youville College in its second century.
