D'Youville is known for its community engagement. The DYC Alumni Association provide numerous ways to help others. You can make a difference in the lives of D'Youville students and fellow alumni through service to DYC.
Student recruitment: Service to DYC can be as easy as telling others about your college experience. Alumni are needed to help the Office of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions at various college fairs throughout New York and in other states. As a graduate, you can speak from personal experience. You graduated and are a success story. Students and parents will be interested in hearing your story.
Career Services: Alumni are needed to provide career advice, mentoring or job shadowing opportunities for current students and alumni through the DYC Career Services Office. DYC students and alumni are seeking mentors who have similar career, academic or cultural interests and who have expertise in areas ranging from nursing to business, education and beyond.
Alumni Chapters: Chapters are organized regionally around geographic location and provide an easy way to get involved. Join or start a chapter to provide opportunities for fellow alumni to participate in professional and social networking and educational programs.
Class Agents: Keep your fellow classmates connected with their alma mater by informing them of current issues at DYC. Class agents can also provide feedback to the College of classmates' interests and concerns. As a class agent, you can also serve as a reunion chair or member of the reunion committee (during reunion years).
